Medicare provides special rebates for a one-off mid-life health assessment for 45-49 year olds. This is a thorough review of your health and risk factors. Please ask for a double appointment when booking this appointment.
There is an annual checkup available for patients over the age of 75, which we perform in conjunction with a home visit or in-practice assessment by our nurses. Please speak to the nursing staff to arrange this worthwhile review.
Annual comprehensive health checkups are also available to patients who have an intellectual disability, and to adult Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.
